INDUSTRIAL VISITS

Industrial visits are an integral part of professional education, providing students with practical exposure to real-world work environments and helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices. Organized regularly by the Training and Placement Cell, these visits enable students to observe organizational operations, interact with industry professionals, and gain insights into management processes, production systems, workplace culture, and employment practices. Such experiences enhance students' understanding of industry standards while preparing them for future careers.

During the academic session, SGTBIMIT organized several industrial visits for students across different programmes.

On September 26, 2025, students of BBA, BBA (Banking & Insurance), and B.Com visited E3 Technotex Pvt. Ltd. (E3 GRASS). The visit familiarized students with the manufacturing of artificial grass carpets using advanced machinery and modern production techniques. Students observed the company's quality standards and manufacturing processes, gaining valuable knowledge of industrial operations and practical business applications.

On March 10, 2026, students of BBA, BBA (Banking & Insurance), and B.Com visited Mother Dairy. They learned about modern dairy processing and packaging systems, quality control measures, hygiene standards, supply chain management, and distribution processes. The visit provided a comprehensive understanding of large-scale dairy operations and demonstrated the practical implementation of management and operational concepts.

On February 9, 2026, BCA students visited Ducat India to gain exposure to the IT industry. Industry experts introduced students to software development tools, programming technologies, and current digital trends. Students also learned about career opportunities, industry expectations, and the importance of technical and professional skills required in the rapidly evolving IT sector.

Overall, these industrial visits proved to be highly informative and enriching. They strengthened students' practical understanding of academic concepts, enhanced their awareness of industry practices, and motivated them to develop the professional skills necessary for successful careers.
