Mega Job Fair

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Management & Information Technology (SGTBIMIT) successfully organized a Job Fair on March 26, 2025, in collaboration with ICA Edu Skills Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s leading training and skill development organizations. Established in 1999, ICA Edu Skills is widely recognized for providing industry-oriented training programs and enhancing employability through practical learning, skill development, and strong corporate connections.

The Job Fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from 32 reputed companies representing diverse sectors of the industry. Prominent organizations such as R1RCM, Paytm, Genpact, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Venus Graph, Just Dial, and Axis Bank were among the key recruiters who participated in the event. The fair received an overwhelming response from aspiring candidates, with nearly 1,100 students registering and actively participating, making it a vibrant platform for interaction between students and industry professionals. Out of these, 633 students were successfully selected by reputed companies, reflecting the effectiveness and impact of the event.

During the event, several companies conducted screening tests, interviews, and interaction sessions to identify talented candidates. Many students successfully cleared the recruitment rounds and were selected for various job roles, marking an important milestone in their professional journey. Organizations such as Paytm and Teleperformance even issued on-the-spot offer letters to deserving candidates, highlighting both the quality of talent present and the success of the event.

The primary objective of the Job Fair was to provide students with valuable career opportunities and direct exposure to the corporate world, enabling them to interact with leading organizations, understand industry expectations, and explore diverse career paths. The event was efficiently organized and coordinated by the Training and Placement Cell of SGTBIMIT in collaboration with ICA Edu Skills Pvt. Ltd., ensuring a smooth, well-managed, and impactful experience for both recruiters and participants. The success of the Job Fair stands as a testament to the institute’s dedication toward strengthening industry–academia relationships and preparing students for successful professional careers.
